Presentations at the Conference


Please click here for the preliminary conference schedule with all oral and poster presentations and social activities. An alphabetical list of participants is given as well. Please check carefully, if all details of your presentations are correct and report all problems to Hans Burchard.

Oral Presentations

Oral presentations are scheduled for 20 minutes each, which should be split into 15 minutes of talk and 5 minutes of discussion time. The following audio-visual equipment will be available in the lecture hall:
  • two overhead projectors
  • data projector with labtop (you may also connect your own labtop)
  • slide projector
Please contact the students responsible for the technical equipment in due time before your talk in case you go to show slides or electronic data. For each session there is a chairperson responsible for the oral presentations (see the schedule), who should be contacted before the session.

Poster Presentations

All posters will be on display during one day, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

The posters may be up to 84.09 by 118.921 centimeters large, portrait or landscape format, this corresponds to the DIN A0 format in Germany.

The poster chairpersons (see the schedule) will give a short overview over all posters of the day directly before the lunch time.

There will a best poster competition among all displayed posters. Each conference participant will have one vote, ballot papers will be found in the participants bags. The prizes (scientific books) will be awarded during the conference dinner on Thursday evening.
